Both a label and a collaborative effort, Quannum MC’s brings together some of the brightest talents from the former SoleSides label (now Quannum): Gift of Gab & Chief Xcel (Blackalicious), Lateef the Truthspeaker, Lyrics Born and Jumbo of Lifesavas, just some of the full collective that has also previously included artists like DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5, Poets of Rhythm and others. Between them there is a history and legacy of West Coast underground rap/hip-hop music that can never be understated or overlooked.
