Now in its third year, Music Video Portland (MVP) is coming of age. Created as an annual event to showcase the unique audiovisual creations of Maine-based musicians and filmmakers, MVP enters its third year with some exciting new changes and support from some of Maine’s most dedicated and generous organizations. Coffee By Design has pledged financial support to MVP as 2020’s premier sponsor. Mary Allen Lindemann, CBD co-owner and a long time investor in revitalizing Portland’s downtown arts scene, found synergy with MVP’s goals of inclusive artistic empowerment and community building. The MVP team looks forward to announcing this year’s nominees, performers, event judges and our very special 2020 MVP Hall of Fame inductee! Tickets to the event at Bayside Bowl on January 23 go on sale on November 1, and artists may submit their videos through December 1st at www.musicvideoportland.com. The winner of this years "in house" CROWD VOTE (voted on by attendees at the event) will win the Grand Prize of One Full Day of recording at Day In This Life Studios (2nd place prize is $100 worth of rehearsal time at Sun Tiki Studios) The event also features a slew of all-star cast of Maine based musicians / artists/ and dancers slated to perform at the event, including Kenya Hall, Jeff Beam, Dead In The Gutter (Bensbeendead + Dave Gutter) SeepeopleS, VIVA, Angelikah Fahray, Mosart 212 and many more!
