OC & The Offbeats are Portland's purveyors of "feel good" music. Their sound is funky and melodic and reminiscent of bands such as Fitz & The Tantrums, Jack White and Allen Stone. Mixing Motown vibes with a a sprinkle of pop and soul, they can be best be described as the perfect blend of old and new. The Portland Phoenix describes them in a recent review as playing a "pleasing array of classic jazz and Motown with a sprinkle of indie rock. Joining them on the bill is the new project from songwriter Calen Perkins called Luniere. Luniere play acoustic rock and Americana with hauntingly beautiful harmonies and mature and thought provoking lyrics. The band is collection of songwriters, and it shows in their original material.
