Bayside Bowl will be celebrating Halloween Weekend with a monster hip-hop Halloween Bash, featuring the legendary REKS. REKS emerged from the Lawrence, Massachusetts' underground rap scene at the turn of the millennium. His debut album Along Came The Chosen was released in 2001 released under Brick Records and he has released eight additional albums and has appeared on various albums and mixtapes as well as collaborating with such artists as DJ Premier, Styles P, The Alchemist and Hi-Tek to name a short few. Joining him on the night is Portland rapper Ben Shorr. Shorr regularly performs throughout New England and is a fixture in the regional hip-hop scene. He has recorded with the likes of Mr. Lif (Mello Music Group, formerly of Def Jux), Akrobatik (Mello Music Group, formerly of Rawkus Records), Cesar Comanche (DOTFW, JustUs League), Eyenine (Real Hood Music/Wu-Tang Management) and the quick-tongued YouTube sensation, Jarv, who are all featured on Pyrokinesis, his newest album, which was released in August of 2017 and is already garnering some serious critical acclaim. The bill is rounded out by a stellar line up of local hip-hop artists, including Graphic Melee, Zaya and Jacobsen. This show is ALL AGES and tickets are $12 in advance (All Ages), and $15 ($20 for under 21) at the door.
