Hard to Kill Records' recording artist Hayley Thompson-King is seen by many as the current queen of alt-oultlaw country and psychedelic Americana rock. As a singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, she has garnered an international fanbase that can't get enough of her complexly charismatic voice and distinct brew of Psychedelic-Country songs. Her songs defiantly incorporate her operatic training (she is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music) with western, psychedelia and blues. Recently, she released her second album, and debut solo album (previous album was with the Banditas, her former band), Psychotic Melancholia, to wide critical acclaim. On October 14 she graces the Bayside Bowl stage with her legendary presence. This is a "Do Not Miss This Show!" situation! Joining her on the evening is Portland's very own king of Alt-Country / Americana, Joel Thetford, whose second album, The Outer Bank, is considered to be one of the best albums released in Maine this year. Recently Thetford has shared the bill with Alternate Roots, Barns Courtney and Dwight Yoakam, to name a short few.
